THE STUDIO

Designer James Mansour has re-imagined the Haberdashery experience for our atelier in the resurgent Soho scene.

Sartoria Studio’s Wooster street location is a welcoming haven for celebrities, athletes, musicians and executives, pushing the boundaries of traditional menswear with a refined aesthetic and confident attitude.

Mansour’s Interiors for Sartoria Studio conjure the glamour of 1970’s Hollywood jet-set lifestyle contrasted with a worldly Milanese sophistication - evoking Classic Ferrari's, Gianni Angnelli, Marcello Mastroianni, Maria Callas, Robert Redford and Steve McQueen.

Art references from Soho’s gallery lofts to Warhol and Basquiat are juxtaposed with luxe accessories and antiques, in a masterly game…

“The Italians have a chic name for the aesthetic feel of the space: Sprezzatura - which translates as studied nonchalance.” says Mansour

The decor is characterized by stylistic dualities, pairing modernist functionality with an eye for the baroque, and shifting between the vintage nonchalance of the luxury accoutrements & the studied drama of the Claret red croco walls, overscaled custom zebra carpet & Hollywood Regency center table.
